01 — Hello

I’m Yara.

I’m a self taught henna artist who has been practicing and growing my skills for the past five years. My love for henna started when a family friend did my henna at a gathering, and I became fascinated by how something so simple could be turned into such detailed and meaningful art. What began as practicing on paper and family members slowly turned into a real passion that I’ve continued to develop over the years.

I’m currently studying Biomedical Science in university, so balancing school and henna has definitely been a new adventure for me. Even with a busy schedule, henna has always been something creative and calming that I genuinely enjoy doing. Over time, I’ve pushed myself to improve through a lot of trial and error, learning new techniques and experimenting with different styles to grow as an artist.

02 — On style

From traditional brown to jagua and black.

What started with traditional brown henna eventually expanded into working with jagua and black henna as well, allowing me to offer a wider variety of styles and designs for different preferences and occasions. I love being able to create designs that make people feel confident, excited, and connected to moments worth celebrating.

For me, henna is more than just designs. It’s a way to connect with people, express creativity, and continue learning with every appointment and every new design I create.
